BioLibby Page: After several years as an actor and theatre teacher, Ms. Page expanded her reach and obtained a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Smith College and an M.Litt. in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature from the American Shakespeare Center at Mary Baldwin College.
Her graduate thesis explored Shakespeare across the curriculum, inquiry-based learning, historical context education, and state standards of learning. For six years, Ms. Page taught English and theatre in the independent school world, most recently teaching at King Low Heywood Thomas School in Stamford, CT.
She also designed the English curriculum and taught at a New Hampshire charter school for two years where she was given even more freedom to explore the value of the arts and historical context education with great success.
Ms. Page's professional development includes work with All Kinds of Minds' Learning Framework, Grant Wiggin's Understanding by Design, and Daniel Pink. -
